Join Natalie and Barrister John Cahill on the Dance Floor for a Cause

We’re excited to announce that Natalie will be joining forces with Brisbane barrister John Cahill for Dancing CEOs 2025! This award-winning event, organised by the Women’s Legal Service Queensland (WLSQ), brings together 10 teams of Queensland CEOs and leaders, each aiming to raise $41,000 to support domestic violence prevention.

This year, Dancing CEOs will celebrate 41 years of WLSQ’s dedicated work. Funds raised will help establish a graduate program for emerging lawyers, expanding the capacity to provide essential legal services to women and children affected by domestic violence.

How You Can Support Natalie and John

Natalie and John are bringing their energy and dedication to the dance floor, and here’s how you can help them make a difference:

  • Donate to Our Team Total: We’ll have a link available soon for you to contribute directly to our fundraising goal. Every donation brings us closer to supporting WLSQ’s vital work.
  • Enter the Whitsundays Luxury Jet Raffle: We’ll soon provide a link where you can purchase tickets for a chance to win a luxurious experience in the Whitsundays. All proceeds will directly support WLSQ’s critical programs.
  • Join our team for the Epic Walk for DV on 24 March 2025: Show your support by walking with us in the Epic Walk for DV. Last year’s event raised an incredible $94,000 to aid domestic violence prevention. Stay connected through Facebook and Instagram to register and walk alongside us.

    • Meet the Dynamic Duo

    John Cahill: Known for his lively stage presence, John was crowned Disco King at Beaudesert Primary in 1981. Today, he brings his quick wit and showmanship to the courtroom and the airwaves, with appearances on ABC Brisbane and various podcasts. With a dedication to pro bono work for WLSQ and Legal Aid clients, John combines humour, storytelling, and advocacy in all that he does.

    Natalie Powell: A steadfast advocate for domestic violence prevention, Natalie has volunteered at WLSQ for over a decade. While she’s known more for her meticulous preparation than her dancing skills, she’s ready to step in as John’s backup dancer, adding her support and enthusiasm to his lively routine. Together, they’re aiming to make a meaningful impact for a cause close to both their hearts.
